Physical and Chemical Properties Appearance: Clear, viscous, liquid. Vapor pressure<10-2 mPa (20 oC).Solubility Soluble in most organic solvents.Stability Aqueous hydrolysis DT50 28d(Ph5) 300d(Ph7),310d(Ph9).Aqueous photolytic DT50(sterile buffers, Ph5, 7and9), 1.7-9.6d (without photosensitiser),0.5-1.2d(without photosensitiser).
Prevention Object Post emergence control of annual and perennial grassed,at 60-240g/ha,in a wide range of broad-leaved crops(including such field crops as soya beans, cotton,flax,sunflowers,alfalfa,peanutsoilseed rape,sugar beet,tobacco,and potatoes),vegetable crops,trees and vines.To be used with a non-phytotoxic crop oil concentrate.
Toxicity Oral LD50 1,630 mg/kg and 1,360 mg/kg in male and female rats, respectively. Reported LD50s for Select 2 EC formulation are 3,610 mg/kg and 2,920 mg/kg in male and female rats, respectively. Clethodim is practically non-toxic by dermal absorption.
